Create Bootable DVD using Magic ISO Software Tutorial

In the earlier tutorial, you already learn to create bootable DVD using Power ISO. Magic ISO also another useful tool which helps to Windows boot disk in a different way. The user interface is not that much user friendly like PowerISO. But the option for creating boot disk should be considered and very helpful to beginner level people.

Let us see how to create bootable DVD using Magic ISO software.

Important things needed:-

  • Windows 7/ Windows 10 setup Files
  • Magic ISO Software Installed on your PC
  • Re-writable DVD (blank) with 7.5 GB Minimum

How to Make Create Bootable DVD using Magic ISO

Creating bootable CD/DVD is one of the helpful feature provided by MagicISO. It helps to re-install or upgrade Windows to newer version. Let us see this step by step MagicISO tutorial guide to make windows boot disk.

Step 1

Insert “blank rewritable DVD” in your DVD drive.

Open the MagicISO software from the desktop. It should be “Run as administrator”. From the popup dialogue box, click “Yes”. It will direct to Magic ISO user interface.

Step 3

From the ISO File panel (right side), click on “add directory” and select Windows 10 or Windows 7 setup folder.

Then click “OK” to add into MagicISO file manager.

You can see the size of Windows installation setup files in the toolbox area of the ISO software.

Step 4

Next step is to add boot information. For that, you have to go to ISO Folder panel (left side). Click on “Load boot information” button on it.

Now you can see “Bootable option” dialogue box and select “from bootable image file” and click on the “folder icon” to browse the Windows boot information.

Open the Windows 10 or Windows 10 setup folder. Then open the “boot” folder and select “etfsboot.com” which a MS-DOS application. Then, click on “open” and “ok” to load boot information to Magic ISO.

Now, the status changes from Non-bootable to Bootable.

Step 5

Go to “file menu” and click on “save as” from the drop-down file menu.

From the appearing “save as dialogue box” enter file name as “Windows 10 boot ISO” and file format as “Standard ISO image (*.ISO)”. Then, click on “Save”.

The process of saving Windows 10 ISO bootable image file is begin and wait until completion of saving.

Step 6

Click on the “Burn CD/DVD with ISO” from toolbox.

Or

Go to “Tools menu” and select “burn CD/DVD with ISO” from the drop-down tools menu. Now, you can see the “Burn CD/DVD” dialogue box.

Select DVD writer driver and select “Windows 10 Bootable ISO file” in CD/DVD image file section.

Then select DVD write speed as “4x” and check on “Mode 1” option.

After that insert blank DVD disc into DVD driver and click on “Burn it”. The burning of DVD will start and after completion eject DVD disc. Then reinsert DVD into drive and check the dvd as bootable or not.
