At starting Solidworks only supports the Windows operating system not in Macintosh, because Windows got wide users than Mac. Currently, It supports some of apps of eDrawings Viewer Mac OS X and eDarwings professional for iOS. Draftsight is also available for OS X version, but it beta version.
